World Vision Nicaragua

About Us

World Vision Nicaragua began work in 1989, in response to the Hurricane Joan disaster. Since then, this office has carried out projects in transformational development, promotion of justice, emergency response and disaster mitigation and micro-enterprise development, amongst others, in some 250 communities of Masaya, Granada, Carazo, Chinandega and Managua provinces.

Violence, in all its forms, is the biggest issue affecting children today. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
