Distributing food in drought-affected areas of Kenya

Monday, June 5, 2017

Millions of people in northern and eastern Kenya are in crisis.

A prolonged drought has dried up water sources, killed livestock and destroyed crops.

Families are desperate and struggling to survive. More than 300,000 children under age 5 have been identified as malnourished.

World Vision is partnering with the World Food Programme and other humanitarian agencies to bring food, water and other essential aid to people in the places hardest hit by drought.

These scenes are from a recent distribution in Turkana, in northern Kenya.
