Behaviour Change: Evidence Summary for Menstrual Hygiene Management
Menstrual health affects an estimated 1.9 billion women and girls ages 15 to 49, although others outside this group are also directly or indirectly affected. However, menstruation is often a taboo topic that is insufficiently prioritised, leading to a lack of education, inadequate infrastructure, improper management of hygiene materials, and an overall stigma surrounding it. There are many important elements to consider for menstrual hygiene interventions, including access to proper facilities, access to menstrual products, social norms about menstruation, and knowledge about how to manage menstrual appropriately. This brief summarises behaviour change approaches and considerations for effective menstrual hygiene management.

The floods in Kalehe have taken children's lives and affected the education of surviving children
This article focuses on the loss of life of pupils in some schools after the floods in Kalehe. Some schools have seen their numbers reduced significantly because of the children who died, others are displaced and others are still affected by the death of their parents and are unable to return to school. With this article, World Vision wants to highlight the need to redirect humanitarian aid by taking into account the mental health of the children affected by the floods.

DRC: WFP and World Vision Distributes Energy Biscuits to DRC Flood Survivors
This press release informs the media, partners and the public that World Vision, supported by its partner World Food Program, has started the distribution of high-energy biscuits to survivors of the Kalehe floods. The distribution is being done through a response called "DRC Kalehe Floods and Mudslides Response". Over 18,000 people will receive a ration this week.
