Annual Progress Report Fiscal Year 2022
World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal) is a part of the World Vision International global partnership operating in more than 100 countries. WVI started its long-term development programme in Nepal since in 2001 to contribute for well-being of children. At present, WVI Nepal has long-term development programmes in 16 districts namely Udayapur, Sarlahi, Mahottari, Rautahat, Sindhuli, Kathmandu, Lamjung, Lalitpur, Jumla, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Achham, Doti, Dailekh, Jajarkot, and Bajhang across six provinces of Nepal.
In FY22, WVI Nepal received funding from multiple funding streams. From private donors, our twelve World Vision support offices were Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Singapore, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States. The bilateral, multilateral and Foundations were the Department of Foreignh Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Start Fund Nepal, Astellas Foundation and The Lego Foundation.

Water Scarcity Threatens Learning and Health at Chitwe Primary School
In Mporokoso district of Northern Province, Chitwe Primary School has become an example of the critical need for access to clean and safe water, especially for children. Established in 1984, this educational institution, with an enrollment of 308 pupils, including 142 boys and 167 girls, has never had a consistent running water supply.
