The findings of this survey highlight the stark reality for families around the world. Almost all people believe that having enough food to eat is a basic human right – 91%, but 21% of children are going to bed hungry and 30% of parents does not knowwhere their next meal will come from.

Alaa feels empowered after starting her own project of water purification
World Vision Iraq is implementing WASH Accelerator Fund Project through the support of World Vision US to strengthen equality and social inclusion in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. The project aims to improve income-generating capacity for women and people living with disabilities in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene entrepreneurship and careers.
Alaa is one of 100 women participated in the project and developed a business for water purification through Ozone Water Treatment System in an area were water has serious quality issues.
