Universal Children's Day

Thursday, November 19, 2015

The UN General Assembly established Universal Children's Day to promote mutual understanding and togetherness between the world's children, and to mark the day on which the General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989.

As a child-focused organisation, World Vision joins the UN in supporting the ideals and objectives of this important day for children.
