Access to water and sanitation sees 50% increase in school's enrolment
Khalakahle Methodist Primary School in Mpolonjeni, under the Lubombo Region in Eswatini, lacked access to basic necessities such as access to clean water, learners and teachers were not so keen to be part of the school. With Mpolonjeni Area Programme having achieved universal access to safe water under World Vision Eswatini's support, the school has seen a change in this area, with enrolment growing from just over 300 to over 450.

Water is life! Easy access to clean and safe water protects children from waterborne diseases, eliminates the loss of education and play time spent collecting water, and contributes to their overall wellbeing.
It’s part of World Vision’s effort to ensure Afghan girls and boys enjoy this fundamental right. This effort contributes toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal #6: to ‘Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030.’

DR Congo: Drinking water saves pupils from water-borne diseases in Kalehe
As the world celebrates Water Day, this article highlights World Vision's work in Kalehe territory in the DRC. The ANCP Wash project has transformed children's lives by providing access to drinking water in the schools targeted by World Vision DRC. The water-borne diseases from which the children suffered have now disappeared.
