In this report, we highlight inspiring examples of our vision, "Ensuring life in all its fullness for children in Eswatini", based on our belief that a better world for children is not only necessary, but within our grasp.
In alignment with our five-year strategy (FY21-FY25), FY23 marks a three-year successive implementation of the strategy. The organisation continued to align its efforts to the strategy objective, in full recognition of the changes in the implementation environment or context.

Tanganyika: Saving for the transformation of families affected by interethnic conflict
This article shows the impact of the ADH project, which incorporated the Saving For Transformation approach in Tanganyika. After years of conflict that affected them and forced them to flee, they have now returned to their villages and are becoming self-sufficient thanks to the savings and loans they receive from their savings groups. Their living conditions are changing thanks to the support of World Vision, which trains them and gives them the means they need to prosper.

After a brutal and historic drought in 2022, Somalia now braces for the El Niño rains. Forecasts warn that the El Niño rains, expected to start in October and last until October would trigger severe flooding in southern and central Somalia.
On Thursday of last week, Baidoa, the capital city of South West State, south central Somalia was the epicentre of heavy rains that lasted at least 12 hours. The rains that started the evening of Wednesday continued through the night into Thursday morning, causing flash floods in the aftermath, with significant damage to infrastructure.

Après des années de conflits qui les ont affectées et les ont poussés à fuir, aujourd’hui, elles sont retournées dans leurs villages et deviennent autonomes grâce à l’épargne et de crédits qu’elles reçoivent de leurs groupes d’épargne. Leurs conditions de vie changent suite à l’accompagnement de World Vision qui les forme et leur donne des moyens nécessaires pour prospérer.
