Empowering Women Farmers: Inspiring hope for Sustainable Agriculture
Getari, a farmer with Kou Cooperative Society in Madang’s Usino District, transformed her cocoa block, empowering women in her community. Trained by World Vision's ANCP Climate Smart Cocoa project, she mastered climate-smart farming, boosting her cocoa's health and productivity. Sharing her knowledge, she mentored other women, fostering community bonds.

Lead farmers receive agricultural training and farming tools from the BEAN project
Gardening tools such as spades, knives, wheelbarrows, and seeds were distributed to the lead farmers at the end of the training. The farmers were delighted to receive the gardening tools, which they had not expected.

World Vision launches ENOUGH campaign in Kenya to address child hunger and malnutrition in the country. The landmark campaign is a timely initiative that will not only call for enough nutritious food in school and at home, but will also call for improved data collection, climate-smart agriculture, and policy reforms even as the Kenyan Government plans to establish a national policy on school meals by June 2023 as well as strengthen the efficiency and accountability mechanisms of the school meals initiative.
