World Vision signs $33M climate resilience project with the Government of South Sudan and UNDP
In a significant step towards climate resilience, the South Sudan Government, through the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and World Vision International South Sudan, has signed an agreement to implement the Watershed Approaches for Climate Resilience in Agro-pastoral Landscapes (WACRESS) Project. World Vision Kenya Launches National Flood Response
Amidst the devastating floods in Kenya, Mathare North Primary School shelters 200 families, grappling with despair. As of April 29th, the Government of Kenya reports indicate that approximately 150,365 people have been displaced by the ongoing rains, with 169 deaths recorded as floods swept through almost half of Kenya.
World Vision is responding with urgent aid, delivering cash transfers having launched a national flood relief effort to reach over 84,000 affected individuals.

World Vision launches ENOUGH campaign in Kenya to address child hunger and malnutrition in the country. The landmark campaign is a timely initiative that will not only call for enough nutritious food in school and at home, but will also call for improved data collection, climate-smart agriculture, and policy reforms even as the Kenyan Government plans to establish a national policy on school meals by June 2023 as well as strengthen the efficiency and accountability mechanisms of the school meals initiative.
