A green pepper garden is keeping Faima’s future hopes alive
Twenty-year-old Assuman lives with his mother, his sister Faima, and another sibling in eastern Uganda. He is a youth representative and a member of Buwunga Farmers Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCO), a community-based women initiative group. Thanks to his bell pepper garden, he has been able to transform life for his family, from despair to hope. Now, Faima's hopes of becoming a doctor are reignited.
