Contribution to the domestic law

October 20, 2015 - Under the "One Voice and One Action" Child Right Technical Group agenda, National Director of World Vision Mongolia Mr. Vincent Edwards and Director of Save the Children Mr. Mitsuaki Toyoda, attended an official meeting with Member of Parliament and Minister of Population Development and Social Protection, Mr. Erdene, and Member of Parliament and Head of Social Policy Standing Committee, Mrs.Odontuya, and handed over recommendations on the bill on Child Protection, bill on Rights of the Children, and Joint Advocacy Plan to Member of Parliaments yesterday.

Minister of PDSP Mr. Erdene and Member of Parliament Odontuya expressed their gratitude to our contribution to the law and requested to cooperate closely on further actions on those laws. During the meeting, parties exchanged their views, revision and compliance of the bills with other domestic laws.

Minister of PDSP Mr.Erdene requested the following:

1.   To provide technical support from international agencies and to support with more specialists

2.   To conduct capacity building trainings among people who work on this field of child protection and child rights

3.   To support local NGOs
