ROLE OF CHILD POLICE OFFICERS IN IMPROVING EFFECTIVENESS OF CHILD DELINQUENCY PREVENTION ACTIVITY RESULT

October 26 to 29, World Vision Mongolia CDPP conducted a training calls “ROLE OF CHILD POLICE OFFICERS IN IMPROVING EFFECTIVENESS OF CHILD DELINQUENCY PREVENTION ACTIVITY RESULT”in “Nairamdal” International Children’s Centre according to the partnership agreement between WVIM and National Police Agency signed on 05 March 2015.

Mr. Vincent Edwards, country director of WVIM gave an opening speech saying, “Protecting children from neglect, abuse, preventing becomes victim of crime, human trafficking is WVIM’s foremost mission. In previous years we have successfully implemented 3 trainings on enhancing the qualification for 350 police officers work with children, and training on Leadership for 50 senior police officers. I would also like to express my gratitude for the all training participants for the successful implementation of the 4 day training course”.

There were total of 130 attendants including professionals, 71 juvenile crime and internal organization and plan division police officers from the 21 provinces and 59 police officers from 9 districts in Ulaanbaatar city.

Mongolian Anti Corruption Agency participated in organizing the training. Head of the Anti corruption agency, educational department Bat-Otgon says, “Conducted survey on “Mongolian youths knowledge on value of honesty” shows heartbreaking news. So we aim to share information and approaches to train the children and youth to value honesty through this training. 

Children’s inspectors trained to increase children and youth loyalty; to learn working with children who involved in crime or became victims; and to prevent children from crime and domestic violence cooperating with government and non-government organizations.
