Rwandan President Paul Kagame meets World Vision International President Kevin Jenkins

Rwandan President, H.E Paul Kagame has applauded the work being done by World Vision in Rwanda, saying a lot has been achieved both at community and national level as a result of the organisation's efforts. This was during a high level meeting at State House in Kigali, between President Kagame and a delegation from World Vision, headed by the organisation's CEO/ President, Kevin Jenkins

Kevin Jenkins who was in Rwanda for a three-day official visit was flanked by his information assistant Nigel Marsh, The World Vision Rwanda National Director George Gitau and the World Vision East Africa Region leader Margaret Schuler.

President Kagame, in company his Foreign affairs minister Louise Mushikiwabo and local government minister Francis Kaboneka assured World Vision of continued government support and cordial working relationships. The meeting, which lasted close to an hour focused more on sustainable growth and development in Rwanda.

World Vision Rwanda currently operates in 18 out of the 30 districts that make up the entire country. The organisation focuses on improving child well-being through child-focused transformational development, disaster management and promotion of justice.
