Forcibly Displaced Boys Reclaim their Childhood in the Child Friendly Space in Armenia
World Vision Armenia is involving forcibly displaced children in inclusive, fun and educational activities in Child Friendly Spaces (CFS). CFS activities are designed to strengthen coping mechanisms in children who have experienced trauma. While learning how to deal with anxiety and fear, children forge new bonds with friends they meet in CFS and build supportive relationships with World Vision staff.

Price Shocks: Economic gains masking a growing hunger and malnutrition crisis
World Vision's annual price survey analyses global food prices over the past three years. This Price Shocks report is a continuation of our 2021 and 2022 studies with findings showing a slight dip in the highest costs of living for some while others remain at previously marked crisis levels. This year's findings continue to underscore the uneven recovery from the socioeconomic shocks from COVID-19, inflation, and extreme weather and indicates a disparity of food prices, both in the current cost of the basket of 10 common food items and in the year-on-year comparisons. We provide insight into the year-on-year changes and share recommendations on mitigation for various audiences.

World Vision Armenia Country Brief: FY22
World Vision started operations in Armenia in 1988 providing emergency aid to people affected by the devastating earthquake. Later, World Vision’s projects have transitioned beyond meeting the demands of crisis situations to promoting spiritual and physical transformation of more than 200 communities in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Syunik, Tavush and Lori marzes and the capital Yerevan.
