Lessons in Resilience: Insights from School Feeding in Burundi
World Vision World Vision Programme (WFP) Homegrown School Feeding is increasingly the foundation for school meals in Burundi and expands the reach of the programmes from emergency assistance to long-term development. EU-LEAN Savings for Transformation Boxes Improve Access to Financial Services, Unite Families, and Promote Environmental Sustainability in Kassena Nankana West District in the Upper East Region.
A convergence of several challenges has created complex livelihood crises in rural communities in the Kassena Nankana District in the Upper East region. This poses a challenge for smallholder farmers to navigate these crises. But thanks to the Savings for Transformation initiative implemented by World Vision Ghana under the auspices of the European Union (EU)-funded Landscape and Environmental Agility across the Nation (LEAN) Project, these farmers are able to access loans to meet their financial needs.

World Vision has a vast reach in Zambia, with long-term development projects called Area Programmes and short-term grant-funded projects spread across the country nationwide.
