Water for drinking, cooking and cleaning

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

Community members, both children and adults, collecting and using water from boreholes, water tanks, and water jars in Ntwetwe sub-county, about 150 km west of Kampala. The water sources were constructed with support from donors in the United Kingdom through World Vision UK.

One community member explains why the new water sources are superior to using a shallow well: "The lines at the shallow well were very long. There was pressure on that shallow well because it was used by three villages."
