'Chosen' in Rwanda: An aura of joy as children choose their sponsors for the first time
'Chosen' is a World Vision initiative under which children get to choose their own sponsor instead of a sponsor choosing them. This approach puts the power to choose in a child’s hands. Fifty children including seven-year-old Nadia got to choose their sponsors at the launch of the initiative in Rwanda.

Ripples of Hope: One Million Lives Transformed by Clean Water
In March of 2018, the then World Vision USA President, Richard Stearns met with government officials in Rwanda, and committed on behalf of World Vision, to raise resources to provide access to clean water for One Million people within five years from 2018, in the sectors where World Vision works.
