the joining forces initiative aims to highlight some of the key aspects affecting children like the provision of consistent school meals for children, malnutrition, and child hunger that have consistently affected today’s children. According to the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization, Uganda’s fertile agricultural land can feed 200 million people. Remarkably, 80% of Uganda’s land is arable, yet only 35% is currently under cultivation.

World Vision Uganda is pleased to present the Annual Report for the Financial Year (FY) 2023, which covers our work and impact from October 1st, 2022, to September 30th, 2023. In this period, our transformative projects reached over three million children, showcasing our impactful efforts in transforming the lives of vulnerable children and communities across Uganda.

Many children living with disability are unable to join school because of their condition, however, because of initiatives like Channels of Hope, children are being supported to get back to school thanks to wheel chairs given by World Vision.
