Over 100 health facilities in Uganda have been accredited under the Baby Friendly Health Initiative (BFHI), a government-led program supported by World Vision Uganda, aimed at improving maternal and child health through enhanced breastfeeding support and community empowerment.

World Vision Uganda is pleased to present the Annual Report for the Financial Year (FY) 2024, which covers our work and impact from October 1st, 2023, to September 30th, 2024.

Voices unlocked: In Uganda, children are turning smartphones into storytelling tools, using mobile journalism to shine a light on their communities, challenges, and opportunities and inspire change. Since its launch in 2019, World Vision Uganda’s MOJO initiative has trained youth to script, film, edit, and produce impactful stories using smartphones. This empowers them to share their lived experiences and push for change in their communities.

Uganda hosts over 1.5 million refugees, the highest number in Africa; however, with the funding shortage, children under five are at high risk of Malnutrition and child hunger.
