Irpin education center in Ukraine aids recovery and learning of children with special needs amid the war
In Irpin, Ukraine, a World Vision-supported education center is changing lives by creating an inclusive environment for children with special needs. 71 children with disabilities and 54 local children work in mixed groups to learn and grow together. Through group and individual classes, catch-up lessons, and physical therapy, children with special needs develop crucial skills. The ECHO-funded program bridges educational gaps caused by the ongoing war.

Five-year-old Arina escapes war-torn Donetsk as mental health issues threaten future of Ukraine's children
Arina and her mother Marina once called Velyka Novosilka home, a city close to the war's frontline with danger getting closer each passing day. Mom and daughter fled west for survival. Restoring childhood: Safe havens for Palestinian children to heal and thrive
World Vision made it a priority to create safe spaces for children and communities across the West Bank. ver the past 10 months, the organisation has implemented mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) interventions in more than a hundred villages, reaching over 28,000 children and adults. Through 26 newly constructed or rehabilitated safe spaces, World Vision has provided crucial psychosocial support to over 6,500 children across the West Bank, helping them navigate the immense challenges they face.
