DR Congo: Hundreds Of Pupils Trained To Protect The Environment On International Tree Day
This article illustrates an environmental awareness initiative organised by World Vision in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Celebrating International Tree Day, the event aimed to educate younger generations about the importance of trees in preserving the ecosystem, climate regulation and public health. Through talks by experts and a tree-planting activity, pupils were able to understand their crucial role in protecting the environment. The article also highlights the impact of this awareness-raising activity on young people, reinforcing their ecological awareness and their commitment to preserving natural resources. Ultimately, this day symbolises the importance of reforestation and tree conservation for future generations.
