Deadly floods, life-giving water: why World Vision put WASH first in Ghor
Dawlatyar district, where World Vision operates, was among the hardest-hit areas by floods in Ghor last year. The lack of access to safe drinking water heavily impacted children like 14-year-old Majid.
World Vision, in partnership with communities and leaders in Ghor, prioritised the restoration of the village’s water supply system. The rehabilitation provided access to clean water for 100 families, profoundly transforming their lives.
