Through a project, World Vision is supporting the creation of safe play areas in villages affected by the current crisis, allowing children to play, hope and heal.

Restrictions on movements have seriously affecting access to emergency health care services. To support communities, World Vision is supporting 20 health centers with material and training so they can provide emergency health cares to communities at the village level. In the village of El Karmel, this project is bringing hope among mothers and children.

The Grow ENRICH project aims to improve maternal and child health and nutrition in Kenya, Somalia, and Tanzania, benefiting many individuals over four years.

Zimbabwe has taken a significant step forward in public health emergency preparedness with the official handover of eight state-of-the-art Public Health Emergency Operations Centres (PHEOCs) by World Vision Zimbabwe to the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC).

11-year-old Aurora's life changed after World Vision built a borehole near her home in the north of Mozambique, eliminating her daily hour-long walk for unsafe water. This improved her school attendance and the community's access to clean water for better health and farming. Serving 400 people, this project is part of a larger WASH program that has positively impacted over 14,700 individuals in the region.

As African governments convene at the 11th Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD-11) in Uganda from 9th to 11th April 2025 , the Joining Forces Alliance a coalition of six leading child-focused organizations—is calling for urgent action to accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with children at the forefront .
