A Journey of Overcoming Food Insecurity in Namibe province in Southern Angola
Nkhondo is a small mountain community in Namibe province, where life in the mountains has not been easy. The drought caused by the El Niño weather phenomenon has damaged the crops and, consequently, the economy of the families, who look to the markets to supplement their diet. The high disproportion in food prices means that families have less and less diversity on the table. When there is something to eat, the quantity is often not enough. Life in Nkhondo requires a lot of resistance and resilience.

Clean Water, New Beginnings: A Community’s Journey to Hope
For years, Sara Macamo and the women in her remote community faced dangerous, exhausting treks to collect unsafe water from the Limpopo River, often shared with animals and contaminated with disease. However, the installation of a borehole transformed their lives, eliminating the perilous journeys and providing easy access to clean water. This change allowed women to focus on farming and childcare, while young girls could attend school regularly, leading to improved education and hope for a better future.

Children and Youth Voices on Migration, Civil Registration and Vital Statistics
This report presents the voices of 69 children—33 girls and 36 boys—aged 14 to 17 from 10 countries, sharing their experiences and perspectives on migration.
Through consultations, they discussed key themes, including the drivers of migration, its impact on children, identity documentation, challenges in civil registration, and recommendations for strengthening civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) systems. The participating countries were Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Empowering Adolescents Through Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in the West Bank
Using an evidence based approach (EASE), World Vision is providing mental health and psychosocial supports to 1000 adolescents and 1000 caregivers in 34 villages of the West Bank to help them to manage stress, anxiety and trauma due to the current crisis as part of a project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
