World Vision Afghanistan works in 34 districts and over 3,200 villages across Herat, Badghis, Ghor, Faryab, and Nangahar provinces, reaching more than 1.2 million people in FY24, including over 547,000 children.

Parents, like Rozoqullah, in a remote village of Faryab once faced long and difficult journeys to access healthcare—especially for their malnourished children. But now, lifesaving treatment, through World Vision-run clinic under the FRAMES project is just steps away. Families no longer have to travel far to get the care they need, ensuring a healthier future for their children, right in their own village.

World Vision has scaled up nutrition efforts, reaching over 60 thousand children in Malawi with school meals.

Saya’s family is from Syria, but she was born in Turkey. Saya is six years old and has three sisters—one younger and two older. Her family lived in Syria until her older sisters were three and one year old. They fled because the war had made their hometown too dangerous. Her father was the first to leave, traveling to Turkey, and soon after, Saya’s mother and sisters joined him. Saya and her younger sister were born in Turkey.
