DR Congo: Thousands Of Children At Risk From Violence, Abuse, And Displacement As Armed Group Moves On Goma, Warns World Vision
This press release updates the consequences of the ongoing clashes between loyal DRC forces and the M23 rebels. With this press release, World Vision would like to draw attention to the plight of women and children who are once again affected and are in dire need of assistance. They need water, food and shelter. Children and women also need protection from all forms of violence. This statement is also an appeal to the international community to provide humanitarian assistance to these people, to whom the humanitarian actors do not yet have access.

Children Pay a Heavy Price as Clashes Resume Between the M23 and the Congolese Army in Eastern DR Congo
This press release is an alert from World Vision in relation to the resurgence of armed conflict in Eastern DRC. Violent clashes between the loyal army and the M23 armed group have resumed around Sake, resulting in thousands of new displaced people, including children. The humanitarian crisis has just worsened and World Vision is calling on humanitarian actors, donors and the international community to provide more resources to people whose needs are now enormous.
