of COVID-19
This year, the COVID-19 crisis has resulted in a child rights crisis. The costs of the pandemic for children are immediate and, if unaddressed, may last a lifetime.
Between April and August, 2020, World Vision spoke to 763 children and young people in six regions across the globe between the ages of 7 and 19 to see how COVID-19 was affecting them.
As you will see in the following infographic 81% of children said they had seen in increase in violence and 82% had seen had experienced a disruption in their educations.
