A total of 672 Adolescent Clubs have been established at the village level with 15,075 adolescent girls’ ages between 10 to 19 years. An adolescent’s club is formed with 20 -25 adolescent girls. Girls learn about improved life skills, health, nutrition, and WASH behavior.

BIENGS At A Glance
BIENGS- Bangladesh Initiative to Enhance Nutrition Security and Governance is a Multisector Nutrition Project aiming to improve maternal and child nutrition of 153,825 nutritionally vulnerable families (1,701,100 people) in Jamalpur and Sherpur Districts and strengthen health nutrition service delivery systems through a pro-poor governance model.
The project is co-funded by the European Union. It is being implemented by a consortium of national and international development entities—Unnyan Sangha (US), International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI-HarvestPlus, USA), Institute of Development Studies (IDS, University of Sussex, UK), and World Vision (Bangladesh, Australia, and the UK).
Outcomes
1. Nutrition-Sensitive Behaviors –Improved nutrition and hygiene practices of mothers and caregivers of Children U5, Pregnant and Lactating Women (PLW), Adolescent girls, and Persons with Disabilities
2. Nutrition Services—Improved quality and utilization of nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific services through enhanced pro-poor governance and key actors' capacities
3. Consumption, Production, and Income—Improved household food consumption utilizing increased and diversified food production increased income and equitable household decision-making participation
4. Coordination—Improved efficiency and effectiveness of nutrition (-sensitive & specific) activities through enhanced multi-sector coordination of local public and private nutrition stakeholders
