Resilience and Livelihood Programme
Every child deserves a secure life
By breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty through sustainable livelihood initiatives, we create lasting security and opportunity for children to thrive.
At World Vision International Myanmar (WVIM), we empower vulnerable households and communities to break the cycle of poverty and build financial resilience against economic shocks and climate-related disasters. Through sustainable livelihood solutions, we support families in strengthening their income, improving their well-being, and creating a secure future for their children.
Our initiatives focus on promoting sustainable agriculture and livestock production by providing technical training, quality seeds, and essential inputs while strengthening market systems through private sector partnerships. We also equip communities with financial literacy, business development skills, and savings practices to enhance economic opportunities. By integrating natural resource management techniques such as small-scale irrigation, Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR), and Sloping Agricultural Land Technology (SALT), we help communities achieve long-term resilience and economic stability for generations to come.
