La Coalición LAC RMD llama a los gobiernos de América Latina y el Caribe a implementar la Declaración y Plan de Acción de Chile 2024-2034. Inspirado en la Declaración de Cartagena de 1984, el acuerdo aborda el desplazamiento forzado y la apatridia, impactando a más de 23 millones de personas en la región.

Hope amid uncertainty: How Tailoring Skills Are restoring livelihoods after the El Nino drought
For years, many households in Namwala District struggled with financial insecurity, lacking opportunities to break the cycle of poverty worsened by the recent El Nino drought. With limited economic activities and skills, families faced hardships providing for their children’s education and daily needs. However, hope emerged through World Vision Zambia under the Transforming Household Resilience in Vulnerable Environments’ (THRIVE) Tailoring Enterprise Development Initiative, an effort designed to equip community members with essential skills for financial independence.

Cet enfant rejeté hier par sa propre famille, a trouvé une nouvelle famille qui l'a accueilli et lui a tout donné pour transformé sa vie. Ceci a été possible grace à la formation sur l'approche Channel of Hope for Child Proction à laquelle ont participé Rachel et son mari le pasteur David. Ils ont compris leur role et ont agi pour changer la vie de cet enfant.
