TéléchargerPolitical instability, resurgent gang violence, corruption, vulnerability to natural disasters, economic crises continue to hinder community members’ ability to meet their basic needs. To reduce inequality in access to basic services, World Vision teams in Hati made it a priority to work with partners, community members and the government to implement Child Survival Technical programs to address the gap in services access such as Education, Livelihood, Health, Nutrition, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Child Protection.
This year, we saw encouraging improvement. During Fiscal Year 21, we observed an 84% improvement in life quality of extremely vulnerable beneficiaries we are working with, with 68% of more and most vulnerable becoming vulnerable and 16% of them less vulnerable, they are slowly moving away from extreme deprivation.
