2022 Annual Report - Ghana
TéléchargerIt is not surprising that 2022 was very eventful, exacting, exciting and full of testimonies of God's Goodness and Mercy. World Vision Ghana had the singular honour, as the first National Office in the West Africa Region, to host the Triennial Council Conference bringing together all chairs of the Board of Directors, Advisory Council Chairs, Senior WVI Executives, National Directors and senior staff of World Vision entities in the world.
Earlier in the year, World Vision Ghana organised a donor engagement forum dubbed 'Bridging the Learning Gap at the Basic Level with Sustainable WASH Interventions for Supportive Learning Environment'. The event leveraged the momentum of the UNESCO Sustainable Development for Education Award received by World Vision Ghana to engage prospective donors, partners and government agencies, to position the organisation not only as a key player in education but also as a thought leader through its “Unlock Literacy Project”.
In the middle of the year, WVG for the first time successfully launched and shared its 2021 to 2025 Country Strategy with its stakeholders and partners. The Strategy, named “Accelerating our Commitment to the Most Vulnerable Children,” has the goal of ensuring that “By 2025, World Vision Ghana would have reached 3.3 million vulnerable children through empowered and resilient communities with a special focus on most vulnerable children.”
This report showcases a summary of the concerted efforts of staff, partners, stakeholders and donors during the year under review whose key achievements are captured below;
