When Finding Water is a Fulltime Job
Lazaro is a hard-working 23-year-old man who lives in Cunene Province, Southern Angola. It's one of the worst-affected areas by the drought in Southern Africa.
Lazaro has the equivalent of three full-time jobs:
- He spends hours collecting water every day (and helps others along the way),
- He attends school full-time and is studying to become a teacher. And every day between those two jobs,
- He runs his own shop because he wants to earn an income and improve his life.
However, drought is making this even more difficult. Learn more about his situation in this video.
