Timed and targeted counselling (ttC) at work in southern Sierra Leone
Timed and targeted counselling (ttC) is an approach through which Community Health Workers extend primary healthcare counselling at household level. This is the core approach of World Vision’s Global Health and Nutrition Strategy known as 7-11. The ttC model is built around evidence-based, cost effective key interventions for pregnant women and children under two. In Sierra Leone, the model is significantly reducing maternal and infant child morbidity and mortality in Bonthe District.
