Tropical Cyclone Harold: Three months on
Three months after devastating Tropical Cyclone Harold, World Vision Vanuatu has reached 1,708 households with relief items including blankets, tarpaulins, shelter tool kits, jerry cans, hygiene kits, water filters/buckets, mosquito nets and solar lanterns. World Vision focused its relief efforts on supporting the most vulnerable, including people with disabilities, the elderly and female-headed households. We worked closely with partners, including the Sanma Provincial Emergency Operations Centre, who led the response. World Vision will continue to work with the government through the Vanuatu National Disaster Management Office to support communities to recover from Tropical Cyclone Harold and the impact of COVID-19.
