Ana Tenorio
Ana is an international education expert with over 20 years’ experience supporting education initiatives globally that focus on enabling families, teachers, communities and governments to increase investments and holistic interventions for children’s learning and development.
She started her work in development with street children and women-led cooperatives in her native country Honduras. Supported grassroots and multi-country Education grants at the Inter-American Foundation and USAID. Implemented large scale Early Childhood Development programmes in Africa and led the development and evaluation of ECD and parenting programmes in Palestine, El Salvador, Brazil and Pakistan.
Ana has worked with World Vision International for 10 years. She led Early Childhood and Literacy programming in different regions and globally. After five years of leading World Vision’s Education Global Technical Support and Quality and Innovation functions, she currently serves as the Global Director for Education.
Ana holds a MSc. in International Development Management, a MA in Public Administration both from American University, and a BSc. in Developmental Psychology from Honduras National University.
