Dr Kathryn Taetzsch
I provide leadership across World Vision’s global cash and voucher-based programming portfolio, which helps millions of people a year.
I support our field staff to implement cash and voucher-enabled programmes, and I represent World Vision in a number of global groups that decide how we can better serve those most vulnerable and in need after a disaster strikes. These include the three Grand Bargain Workstreams, the Cash Learning Inter-Agency Partnership, current Board Chair of CashCap, and on the Collaborative Cash Delivery Network. I advocate for a people-centred, child-focused approach to cash and voucher-based programming with the UN, bilateral donors, and corporate partners such as Mastercard.
I am driven by a passion to enable people affected by poverty and disasters, especially children, to become more resilient – mainly through their own means, supported by World Vision's market-based support.
I have worked for World Vision for 18 years across many different roles and I look forward to working on our renewed focus of helping those in fragile contexts.
