DR Congo: 16 Days Of Activism - Working Together To End Gender-Based Violence
This article highlights the success and impact of World Vision’s 16-day campaign against gender-based violence (GBV) in the Kasai province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The campaign, organized as part of the GAINS-TUYA KUMPALA project, aimed to raise awareness about GBV, promote gender equality, and strengthen local protection mechanisms for women and girls. It emphasizes the importance of community mobilization and education in addressing and preventing violence, while also showcasing the collaboration between local and international partners to support victims and reduce GBV in the region.
