This article talks about the training of faith leaders, traditional practitioners, health workers and community volunteers as part of a wider strategy to build local capacity to combat polio and other vaccine-preventable diseases, as well as zoonoses, in the Uvira and Nundu health zones. This Child-Led Studies on the Lived Experiences and Perspectives of Children in East Asia is the result of the dedication and hard work of children aged 12-18 years old who are currently engaged with World Vision East Asia through the Young Minds CAMP - a regional leadership development academy.

To repsond to the humanitarian crisis affecting the West Bank, World Vision launched an emergency operation on the 13th of October 2023. Over the past year, we have collaborated with over 300 volunteers and 250 village councils to deliver life-saving assistance to the most vulnerable. To date, we have supported more than 233,000 people.
