It Takes a World Global Campaign Report 2017-2023

In 2023, World Vision marked the successful conclusion of the It Takes a World to End Violence Against Children campaign, which began in 2017. Over the past seven years, we have impacted 376 million children globally, thanks to the support of advocates, faith communities, partners, and donors.

World Vision has played a leading role in combating violence against children, collaborating with coalitions like Joining Forces and the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action. Our participation in movements such as the Brave Movement and the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children has established us as a thought leader among partners and supporters.

Notably, our advocacy efforts contributed to a 25% increase in national governments' reporting on progress toward violence-related SDGs. This report showcases the impact and achievements of It Takes a World since its inception, highlighting stories from the field and how we are mobilizing a global community to make a difference for the world's most vulnerable children. While the campaign has concluded, our commitment to ending violence against children is more relevant than ever, and this focus will remain a core priority embedded in our development, humanitarian, and advocacy efforts.
