World Vision Cambodia held a consultative workshop in Phnom Penh, bringing together stakeholders from the Royal Government of Cambodia, representatives from children and youth club, international development partners, civil society organizations, and the private sector. This event provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress made since the launch of World Vision’s five-year country strategy, specifically on what has been worked, did not work and rooms for improvement, placing children at the centre of Cambodia’s development and ensuring their well-being for future generations.

Svitlana, a Ukrainian refugee in Georgia, transforms her own hardships into a mission to support others through World Vision’s Happy Space. As a psychologist and coordinator, she helps refugees rebuild their lives by providing psychosocial support, nonformal education, and community connections. Happy Space has become a beacon of hope, offering safety, empowerment, and resilience to over 6,000 individuals, fostering brighter futures amidst ongoing challenges.

Investing over USD192 million annually, World Vision has reached 28.7 million people in recent years to access cleaner water, 20.9 million to access improved sanitation, and 34.7 million to adopt safer hygiene practices.

A new project launched this week by World Vision will benefit around 3,000 children from Prek Prasab district, Kratie province.

After participating in the Safe Return project, Yusra received a grant that allowed her to expand her tailoring business. Now, she can provide for her family and purchase essential items.
