Fadila’s Story: Water is Life in KORSI
Fadila Ibrahim, a Sudanese refugee and mother of three, fled conflict to find safety at the KORSI site in Birao, Central African Republic (CAR). Life as a displaced person was harsh—marsh water was their only option, causing frequent illnesses for her children. Clean water required long, exhausting journeys to distant villages. Then, World Vision installed a water point at KORSI. “Water is life,” Fadila says with gratitude, “and World Vision has given us life.” With clean water nearby, her family’s health and dignity are restored, proving small actions can yield big change.
