Strengthening our Partnering Response, as the Yemen conflict bell tolls for the eighth time
Eight years of persistent conflict has brought irreparable damage to the country of Yemen; and children have been particularly vulnerable to the devastating impacts of the war, along with looming hunger, economic crisis, climate change and other disasters.
In 22, through our partnering response we reached more than 11,000 girls and boys with life saving health and nutrition services in remote areas of Lahj Governate in South Yemen.
In 2023, we are strengthening our Partnering Response even further and aim to support 25,000 children and their families with the health and nutrition, water and sanitation, and child protection services. World Vision and Medair continue to deliver healthcare and nutritional services through a total of 15 health facilities.
