On 8th of March, 2017 World Vision Afghanistan (WVA) launched its World Vision Global campaign  It takes a World to End Violence Against Children". Afghanistan is a context in which 57 per cent of girls are married before the age of 19, about 40 per cent are married at an age between 10 to 13 years, 32 per cent at age 14, and 27 per cent at age 15.  Through this important campaign WVA aims to address child marriage and forces marriage in order that these girls have the opportunity to enjoy their childhood, but also to go to school to help prepare them for a better future.
