8 African Girls Who Motivate Us
Every year, the world celebrates Day of the Girl Child on 11 October. It's a day to celebrate inspiring girls and the achievements they make. And it's a time to recognise the challenges girls face including unequal access to education, violence, early marriage or unequal distribution of household labour. We know more needs to done to address gender empowerment to further achieve social and economic prosperity. The following southern African girls are ones we've recently met and motivate us:
