World Vision Eswatini (WVE) reached a total of 243,829 vulnerable children in Eswatini through strategic interventions in FY2021-22.

This intriguing fact was presented at the World Vision Eswatini Evidence and Learning Day held at EsibayeniLodge on March 23, 2023.  Representatives from various organizations including  Senior Government Officials, the United Nations Resident Coordinator, Representatives of other UN Agencies (UNICEF, WFP, UNDP), Directors and Staff of NGO’s, Corporate Institutions and members of the community including faith leadersthroned at Esibayeni Lodge office to participate in the Evidence and Learning Day.

This was World Vision Eswatini’s 3rd ‘Evidence and Learning Day 2023’, where they exhibited WVE programmatic interventions towards the fulfilment of Our Promise to Eswatini’s most vulnerable children and Going Further by empowering every girl and boy to reach their God-given potential. This year’s theme was “Going Further Together For Sustained Well-being Of The Most Vulnerable Children”.

The event was a great platform to reflect, build on existing opportunities and strengthen sharing/utilization of evidence of impact. Guests and attendees were given time tohave a gallery walk where they basically visited the stands where exhibitions were taking place where all technical programs; (Humanitarian & Emergency Affairs, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, Livelihoods & Resilience, Health, HIV & Nutrition as well as Advocacy, Child Protection, Faith & Development and It Takes Eswatini To End Sexual Violence Against Children); got to demonstrate and showcase their impact they have achieved over FY21-FY22.

“World Vision has really helped us as young girls, because we could have been involved in so many unhealthy habits, like sleeping with men for money because we lack basic needs. But, since WV looks after us, we have stayed away from such habits. AlI I can say is thank you World Vision, and please continue helping others w who are in need of help”,

From solar powered borehole water system models from the WASH stand; to amazing traditional food served by the Livelihood stand; to the Zinyolicious mascot in the campaign and Child protection stand; to Photobooths in the Health Stand; the gallery walk was truly an interesting, distinctive activity and everyone was stunned by the work that World Vision Eswatini has done. Followed by the walk was a panel discussion, where key points insights were discussed in detail, as well as suggestions for how WVE can extend its impact.
