Catching up with Oscar

Oscar Jandres became a World Vision sponsored child 25 years ago in El Salvador - sponsored by the man who is now President of World Vision International, Kevin Jenkins. The boy who was given up by his mother and brought up by a family who loved him is now 32 and a husband and father. Oscar is working in the United States to earn enough money to return home to his family and start a business.

“I remember sponsorship as an opportunity that God gave me of knowing that someone was concerned about me in this world,” Oscar says.
