A Place in the Sun – World Vision solar panels sustain Palestinian schools

In partnership with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Palestinian Environmental Natural Resources Authority (PENRA), World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza (JWG) National Director David Verboom, along with the Minister for Education and Higher Education Dr. Sabri Saidam, inaugurated a solar energy unit in Yasoof Skaka Secondary School for Girls.

The solar energy unit is part of the “Towards Sustainable Energy Production in Palestine” project, targeting 31 communities in Jenin, South Nablus and Salfit to promote the utilisation of sustainable renewable energy.
