Our History: Transforming Lives, One Child at a Time 

World Vision is a child-focused organization which began our journey in Laos in 1968. Initially, extending a helping hand during the Indo-China War. Though our doors briefly closed in 1975, we reopened in 1991 with a renewed commitment to enriching the lives of vulnerable children, ensuring their well-being and fostering positive change in their communities.  

Beyond borders and biases, we serve everyone, believing in a brighter future for every individual, irrespective of religion, caste, race, ethnicity, or gender. We are dedicated to transforming lives, helping people break free from the clutches of poverty and injustice and creating a world where there is HOPE, JOY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL CHILDREN.
