This is the seventh situation report released by the Global Hunger Response (GHR) highlighting key concerns and ongoing impact as of December 2022 for GHR's 26 countries of highest alert.

As we begin 2023, the ‘4 Cs’ – entrenched conflict, the impacts of natural disasters brought on by climate change, an uneven economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and soaring costs of food, fuel, and fertiliser – continue to drive up the number of people affected by hunger crises. However, what was largely a food price crisis in 2022 may soon become a food availability crisis. Download the publication below to learn more.
